NEMO AT DESIGN MUSEUM, LONDON

“Charlotte Perriand: The Modern life” marks the 25th anniversary of the first Charlotte Perriand exhibition at the Design Museum in 1996. Her modern and pioneering ideas can be found in the way we live today, from the use of materials to her belief that good design is for everyone. The exhibition holds many iconic original pieces such as furniture, sketches, photographs, scrapbooks and prototypes. Original Applique à Volet and Potence Pivotante wall lamp,  from private collections, are also on show!
At the museum bookshop, a selection of Pivotante à Poser is also available. Innovative design for the 50s but still a contemporary table lamp. Steel base painted in matt grey, body in rolled metal sheet painted in white, yellow or blue.
