On the occasion of Milano Design Week 2026, NEMO Lighting unveils its new showroom, designed by Ron Gilad, who transforms the space into an environment where light becomes a living material, something to inhabit rather than a technical feature to display. Nemo Lighting renews its long‑standing dialogue with artist and designer Ron Gilad through a new layout conceived by the Milan–Tel Aviv–based creative mind. The showroom will be revealed during Milano Art Week and Milano Design Week in the brand’s new exhibition space at Via Santa Cecilia 4a, just a few steps from the former showroom in the heart of the city. Conceived as a “field of light”, the showroom repositions lamps as true architectural subjects: they shape space, reveal movement, and accompany visitors beyond the strict boundaries of opening hours.

“The project is shaped by years of observation, reflection, and practice. Ideas emerge intuitively,
guided by common sense and filtered through a personal—occasionally eccentric—lens.
They are allowed to flow freely, without the need to construct a grand narrative.
What remains is a simple position: I do not write stories. I design.”
